Asking In His Name

ASKING IN HIS NAME.
“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.  Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”
  —John 16:23‭-‬24 (NKJV)

When Christ Jesus was warning and comforting His disciples, He gave them an authority. Not only them (the disciples ), but us, the believers.,to act and ask in any authoritative way. Christ Jesus did gave us the power in His name to ask the Father (God) anything and He will do it.
We all know as a believer and as a Christian that, there is power in the name of Jesus, as Paul also confirmed it that “God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” .    —(Philippians 2:9‭-‬11 NKJV).
But here and now, few Christians have the knowledge of the power in the name of Jesus in asking the Father anything. Or should I says, some Christians don't even know how to ask the Father for anything. And here, I will tell you and explain to you, how to ask anything from the Father.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will give you the divine understanding to perceive and to understand what God had in plan for your life and your level of relationship with Him.
The first thing you much have in mind, in thoughts and in your heart is that ‘GOD IS YOUR FATHER ’.
John said “ we love Him because, He first loved us ”.
The best thing you can do is knowing God as your Father.
If you don't know Him as a Father, you need to go back to the cross and ask Christ Jesus to wash your sin away before you can be qualified to be called ‘the sons and children of God’.
John said “ But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name”       —John 1:12 (NKJV)
When he said ‘as many as received Him ’. That is, as many that as given their lives to Jesus. Christ gave them the right to become the children of God. Only if you believe in Christ Jesus.
Let me introduce the kingdom of God to you. The kingdom of God is like a family that contains so many children. Now, the Father of that family is God, in which God's children are those who believe in Jesus. That is to say, Christ is the only One, who can bring us into the Family of God. As Paul said “ For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. —Hebrews 2:10( NKJV). If Christ Jesus is your captain of your salvation, congrats to  you, because “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” —Acts 4:12 (NKJV). Once again, I congratulate you and I welcome you into the Family of God.
In the Family of God, we children of God have an authority and power that as been deposited in us, because the blood of our Father (God) runs through our vain. That mean as the heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, we have the sonship rights to ask anything from the hand of our Father. And the Father is always happy to give it unto you.
The problem some believers has is that, they are afraid to ask the Father what they want and what they need or some believer don't believe in there Father for what He can do. You see, our Father (God ) is the most richest man in the whole universe, the richest man in heaven and in earth, the creator of everything. That means, if our Father is a creator, it means He can create anything that will give us joy. But if you fail to ask him what you want, it implies that you are telling your Father that you are are okay and alright with your situation and predicament.
      Christ Jesus said
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”    —Matthew 7:7‭-‬8( NKJV).
It is however know that what Jesus said here is practical. If you don't put it into practice it won't work.
Throughout July, 2017. God taught me how to ask. Actually, since the day I gave my life to Jesus, I have the knowledge and understanding about the power in the name of Jesus. And I know With that name, there is deliverance and breakthrough, also I know that I can ask God anything in that name, but I never has the perfect understanding about asking the Father anything I want, how I want it and the time, date even the seconds I want it to happen, also I never has the actual understanding about asking God to take charge of some situations for me.
But on July, 2017,  my Father (God ) taught me that I can ask anything at anytime. Let me share some of my experiences.
On that same month in 2017, I was with my mother at home, so I asked her to give me permission to take some fruit from the refrigerator. So she said ‘go ahead, you can take It ’. Now then, I have a younger sister who happens to be the last child of the family and she was there with me, so she said ‘mummy, you didn't give me too ’ and my mother replied her that “because you never ask.  The Bible says ask and it shall be given unto you ”. Actually it may looks funny. But what I want to pin out from thy scene is that. Even our earthly parents understand the principles behind “Asking ”.
Now, if our parents could understand that. what about the Father we have in heaven?. Jesus said “whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you ”
And I en-write you that, since that experience, I have understand perfectly well, how important the Father His, how caring and loving my Father (God ) His. In many occasions, have ask Him to take the wheel off my hand, provide the actual taxi that will take me to campus, take care of a business, monitor my life, give me the Spirit of wisdom in all areas and many unnumbered things.
The problem is this,  If you ask the Father what you need and there is no answer. Know this, Nothing is wrong with His word nor with the Father, that means something is wrong with you.
          The Bible says
“God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? —Numbers 23:19 (Esv)
The best thing you can do is to work on yourself before asking anything from Him.
Asking what you don't need is another problem. Jesus said “Do not be like them (hypocrite), for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him”—Matthew 6:8 (Esv).
It implies that, when you want to ask the Father anything, ask what you need, and not what you don't need.
Another one is ‘asking more one can shake a stick of ’— asking more than what you can comprehend.
The fact is this, ask Him the measure of what you can understand.
Ask the Father with full assurance that He will do it, that faith. Most time, when I as my Father (God )anything I need, I say it with faith and confidence, with full assurance that He will do it in a particular time that will give me joy. Also, I always put my faith into practice.
For instance, if I want do some write up, I will ask the Father to give me what I need and I will start from where it is convenient, until am tired of writing. But if I fail to start, that means, I won't be able to do anything.
Also, always believe that whatsoever you ask the Father, he will do it. Jesus said “ Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”  —Mark 11:24( NKJV).
‘never give up in patience ’. Patience is an action that speaks to the Father that “I still believe that you will do it ”. In patience, you may be bombarded with doubts and fears but always take  the stand and say “I will never give up!, God is my Father, He loves me and He will answer me in due time ”.

Let me give you an encouragement that says
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.”( 2:3 NKJV)
— Prophet Habakkuk.
“ But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint”.(40:31 NKJV)
— Prophet Isaiah.

Always have this in mind and in your heart, “God is your Father and He will do anything to make you happy ”..
A man of faith once said “God is more eager to answer than we are to ask” (Smith Wigglesworth )..
